Who We Are

We are Life Support Company s.r.o., headquartered at Spojovací 1650, Kamenice, Czech Republic.
We provide first aid courses, lectures, consultancy services, audits, and organise congresses.

Life Support Company s.r.o. was founded in 2007 and is registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, file number C 130558.
The Director and Managing Director is Mgr. Jan Bradna.
Once you provide us with personal data, we become its data controller.


When Do We Collect Personal Data and What Do We Collect?

We collect your personal data only when you register for one of our courses or congresses, or when you contact usvia our website contact form or by email.

The personal data we may collect includes:

  • First name and surname (and/or company name)

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Street address and house number

  • City

We use this information solely for the purpose of processing your registration and order, based on your explicit consent.
After completion of your order and payment of the agreed price, your data will be retained for the legally required tax and business record-keeping periods. Once these periods expire, the data will be securely deleted.


Why Do We Need Your Consent and How Is Your Data Used?

Your consent allows us to comply with applicable laws and regulations on personal data protection.
Your data is processed to:

  • Handle your registration and order,

  • Issue invoices,

  • Prepare certificates issued after course completion, and

  • Perform administrative tasks related to course or congress organisation.

Without your consent, we would not be able to provide these services in full compliance with the law.


How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Data?

We retain your basic data (such as company name, name, date of participation, telephone number, email, street, and city) only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which you provided it.
Where longer retention periods are required by tax or business law, these are duly observed. After expiry, the data will be permanently deleted.

Where Is Your Personal Data Stored?

Your personal data is stored in several secure locations:

  • When you contact us via a web form, data is stored in the website’s content management system and checked by an automated spam detection tool (which may operate abroad).

  • Data is transmitted via a secure encrypted connection to our email system.

  • Once registration is complete, the website automatically redirects to our invoice processor (Fakturoid) for invoice or pro forma creation.

  • In the case of immediate payment, you are redirected to a secure third-party payment gateway (GoPay).

  • Data may also be processed by Google (Google Drive) and Vedos (web hosting).

Some data may be stored temporarily on company laptops for order processing.

Your personal data is used exclusively by Life Support s.r.o. and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law.


How Do We Protect Your Personal Data?

All data transmission is performed via secure HTTPS connections.
Emails containing registration confirmations are received via SSL/TLS-encrypted connections, and our computers are password-protected (using 64–128-bit or biometric protection).

Invoice generation and payment processing are handled exclusively through encrypted connections.

What Happens in the Event of a Data Breach?

We take your privacy seriously and employ robust safeguards.
However, in the unlikely event of a data breach, we will:

  1. Notify you immediately,

  2. Take steps to mitigate any adverse effects, and

  3. Report the incident to the relevant supervisory authority in accordance with GDPR.


Your Rights

If you have registered on our website, you may request:

  • A copy of the personal data we hold about you,

  • The correction of any inaccurate data, or

  • The deletion of your personal data (“the right to be forgotten”).

Requests can be made via email or registered post to our Data Protection Officer.
